pictured above is a pretty clever diy project at craftynest using salvaged 1940's drawers. she obtained those drawers via freecycle website where you become a member and gain acces to free stuff. well, you can post your unwanted things, too. you don't have to worry about shipping either because you can post and/or take items within your local area. i think it's like craigslist but dedicated only to unwanted items. check it out and let us know your experience.
