many students and people that are part of the workforce tend to skip meals or eat late. often we would spend money on unhealthy snacks where it's easily accessible such as vending machines. this is what i do to save money on snacks i can munch on during class or break at work
fruit snacks - grapes, watermelon, melons, honeydew, kiwi, orange, pineapple
- buy different kinds of fruits
- cut up the big fruits into bite size pieces (of course, you won't do this with apples and bananas)
- store them in the ziploc bags in the fridge so that you can just take them before you leave in the morning
- you can also buy reusable food savers at dollar stores, ikea, or your nearest grocery stores so that your fruits don't get crushed inside your purse
you can also do this with dried fruit mix and nuts - buy them in bulk or small packages! the best thing about this about this is that you can just leave them in your purse!
